Thanks
Python SEO Tools relies on the contributions of numerous projects and Open Source initiatives which make a lot of our tools possible.
We've endeavoured to credit all modules used and scripts we've been inspired by and are grateful to the hundrends of Python developers who have made all of this possible etc.
Feedback & Testing
Thanks to the following people for taking a look at early versions of the site and providing encouragement:
- Angela - For the nice comments, helpful testing and "proper" Web Developer insight. Sorry again it's not in JavaScript :-D
- Bill - I guess you tested it...
- Mike Sharpe - Thanks for the enthusiasm, lending us that famous Sharpe eye and for all the notes you provided!
Python SEO Community
Thanks to everyone in the Python SEO Community who have shared their knowledge and scripts!
Tool Websites
The following websites are great and have directly or indirectly inspired some of the ideas for our little tools:
- TechnicalSEO.com - Probably one of the most popular and widely used collection of SEO Tools in the community by Max Prin and Merkle. You can probably see the clear influence on Python SEO Tools, although I maintain they didn't invent the sidebar :-P
- AleydaSolis.com - If any SEO out is going to have some random tools on their site it would have to be Aleyda. My favourites are the Htaccess Redirect and Hreflang Generators, as they are the kind of cool input/output "embedded" types scripts I love to see.
- GTmetrix.com - I know it's not strictly speaking an SEO tool and I know the insights aren't as cutting edge as PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse, but it's a well designed tool which offers a lot of functioanlility with or without a free account.
